Joutseno Art Summer is a nationwide art and culture education event held in Lappeenranta, Finland, in the beautiful region of Lake Saimaa. The Art Summer was first organized in 1972, so the summer 2023 event is already the 51st.

The summer programme includes approximately thirty courses in art, handcrafts, writing, expression and music, as well as concerts and public events open to all. The courses are suitable for both amateurs and professionals.

Renowned and inspiring teachers teach their courses in the summery milieu of Joutseno College which is praised for its communal atmosphere and closeness to nature. The art teaching facilities are also available to the participants in the evenings, and for music courses, the teaching, rehearsal and concert facilities can be found in the courtyard of the college.

During the course week participants can stay in full board accommodation in the college's dormitory and enjoy tasty meals prepared by our kitchen.
